  • I am glad that someone knows what they are talking about! The war on drugs wastes billions of dollars each year and ties up precious resources. We get maybe 10% of the drugs coming into the country this way... why do we continue to do something with a 10% success rate?

  • Screw you Mike. How much would you be willing to be paid as an officer? Some make very good money, and some make $10 and hour. You can make $10 an hour at McDonald's. Would you be willing to get shot for $10? Probably not. And furthermore, not everyone can just "move".

  • It isn't like nobody is in there buying the double QPC meal that costs almost $7, or the chicken sandwich meals that are similarly priced anyway... you are naive if you think nobody will spend the money at McDonald's.

  • McDonalds does not get to "control" the amount of carbonated water/syrup that goes into the drinks. They are contracted with Coca-Cola who sends technicians and quality control people to inspect the beverage centers multiple times a year.

  • I work at a police department as a dispatcher and as soon as it gets warm out we start getting calls for these solicitors. They never have a permit, an ID, or transportation. They are usually transients and as stated in the article most have lengthy criminal rap sheets.
